Presented by Applewood Productions

I AM HOME is a short film by Applewood Productions that explores what it means to return—to yourself, to your memories, and to the spaces that shape who you become.

Written by and starring Hailee Dyer and Directed by Tramaine Townsend, the film follows a woman navigating the quiet tension between where she has been and where she is now. Set within the intimacy of familiar spaces, I AM HOME reflects on identity, belonging, grief, growth, and the subtle moments that mark personal transformation.

At its core, I AM HOME is about recognition—seeing yourself clearly in places you once outgrew, and realizing that home is not always a location, but a reckoning.

This special screening invites audiences into a cinematic experience rooted in honesty, restraint, and emotional depth. Following the film, guests may be invited into a brief conversation reflecting on the themes of the work, the creative process, and the importance of storytelling as a tool for personal and communal reflection.

Applewood Productions is committed to creating work that bridges stage and screen while centering human truth, community dialogue, and artistic excellence. I AM HOME is part of the company’s ongoing exploration of stories that live quietly—but linger long after the screen goes dark.

Join us for an evening of film, reflection, and shared presence.
